Mr. Brehne, with a background in law enforcement and a distinguished career as an attorney, is known for his strong sense of justice. His office actively engages in community support, notably through the Ribbon Rider's Pink Elves program, which aids women battling breast cancer. Additionally, Brehne has been a significant supporter of youth initiatives, being the first private donor to the Nope to Dope Program by the Altamonte Springs police department, providing funding and essential media equipment. Furthermore, he sponsors scholarships for high school JROTC members and student-athletes.

  • $2.1 MILLION - Client obtained a long-term disability policy 10 years ago. After suffering a disabling illness, he made a claim for benefits. The insurance company initially accepted the claim and paid him benefits but subsequently terminated his benefits. Weeks before trial, the insurance company paid a lump sum settlement of $2,100,000.
  • $1 MILLION - Client was struck while crossing the street by a commercial van. He was propelled upwards and landed on his head. He suffered a closed head injury and could not return to normal brain function. The case settled for policy limits shortly after our office notified the insurance company of our representation.
  • $1 MILLION - A 25-year-old male was struck while crossing the street in a crosswalk by a commercial air-conditioning truck. Client suffered multiple traumatic head injuries. The case settled for policy limits of $1,000,000.

After evaluations by local jaw specialists, it was determined that the client had significant injury to her temporomandibular joint (TMJ).After two open jaw joint surgeries, client settled her case for $325,000 before trial.
  • $325,000 - Plaintiff, a medical provider filed lawsuits against an insurance company for refusing to pay his bills related to services he performed on his patients. After several years of litigation, the insurance company paid all of the back bills, as well as interest on the outstanding amounts, and paid the provider over $325,000 beyond the policy limits.
