He has represented clients in labor and employment law disputes arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and other statutes, and his experience has encompassed divorce and other family law matters, foreclosure defense, and education law. Mr. Burton has also worked on voting rights cases and other election law issues, and as such, he has assisted the Florida Democratic Party's Voter Protection Center. Mr. Burton obtained his undergraduate education at New York University, where he majored in politics and media, and received a Bachelor of Science cum laude in 2008. He then went on to attend Boston College Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2011. While he was in law school, he served several internships, including one with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts.
