Before launching the firm, he gained substantial, hands-on experience with two of South Florida’s premier estate planning practices, where he handled estate and trust administration, asset protection planning and business succession matters that address both family and commercial objectives.

Holding an LL.M. in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Milhauser also earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. While at St. Thomas University, he contributed to the Law Review and completed a judicial internship with the Honorable David M. Gersten of the Third District Court of Appeal, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in information studies and technology from Syracuse University.

Peer recognition has followed his career trajectory. Within the local estate planning community, he has held leadership roles with the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council, including past president and vice president of programming, and maintains long-term involvement with the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Boca Raton.

Admitted to The Florida Bar and authorized to practice before the United States Tax Court, Mr. Milhauser is also commissioned as a Florida notary public.
