Brandan J. Pratt

Brandan J. Pratt is a managing partner at Huth, Pratt & Milhauser, PLLC, in Boca Raton, Florida. He devotes his practice to trust, estate and guardianship litigation, representing clients in disputes involving fiduciary misconduct, will contests, and complex estate and trust administration. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Wisconsin and regularly handles matters in both trial and appellate courts. His work spans all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial and appellate advocacy.

Mr. Pratt earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Illinois. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, where he worked as a research assistant to the dean and clerked for judges in Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties. To expand his proficiency in financial matters, he completed a graduate certificate in financial planning from Florida State University in 2008 and later achieved the Certified Financial Planner designation.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Pratt serves as a director of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. He is also a member of The Florida Bar and participates in the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. His professional involvement extends to organizations such as the Broward County Bar Association, the Boca Raton and Broward County Estate Planning Council, and the Financial Planning Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale.

Mr. Pratt has been recognized for his leadership and contributions through numerous appointments to bar and industry organizations. He has also appeared before Florida’s District Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Florida on complex estate-related issues.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Pratt is a frequent author and lecturer and has served as an adjunct professor at Keiser University, teaching courses in contracts, real property, criminal law, and trusts and estates.
