A founding partner at Gold & Gold, P.A., David H. Gold focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm's office in Boca Raton, Florida, he provides representation to clients throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties who have been harmed by the negligence of other people or entities. Admitted to practice in both Florida and Pennsylvania, Mr. Gold also practices before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Gold has tried more than 200 cases to verdict during his distinguished career, and he has been able to obtain many sizable jury awards as well as negotiated settlements on behalf of his plaintiff clients. The types of cases that he has handled have included medical malpractice, premises liability, defective products, nursing home negligence, and truck and other motor vehicle accidents. His fellow attorneys have taken note of Mr. Gold's successes both in and out of the courtroom, and they have awarded him an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, his name has been added to the Florida Trend magazine's annual Legal Elite list, and he has also been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America.
Even though he has several decades of experience, Mr. Gold constantly strives to stay abreast of current developments in his practice area through his participation in professional organizations such as the Florida Justice Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Association for Justice. The recipient of a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College, he obtained his legal education at the University of Miami School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1978.
