Attorney Profile

Certified as a specialist in marital and family law by The Florida Bar, David L. Hirschberg is the founding member of his own law firm located in Boca Raton, Florida. Providing representation to residents in that area, including West Palm Beach, he assists people whose marriages are coming to an end and who need to deal with issues like spousal and child support, the division of complex assets, and child custody and visitation. An experienced and aggressive courtroom advocate, Mr. Hirschberg will, when appropriate, attempt to have his clients reach an accord on some of these matters through negotiations and mediation. In addition to his divorce practice, he also routinely prepares and reviews prenuptial agreements, and he has experience in paternity disputes.

The ethical and principled manner in which Mr. Hirschberg handles these often sensitive cases has not gone unnoticed by his colleagues. He has received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell as well as a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In addition, Mr. Hirschberg has been selected for inclusion in South Florida Legal Guide's annual list of Top Up and Comers for more than 10 years in a row.

Dedicated to his profession, Mr. Hirschberg is regularly invited to deliver presentations on family law topics to groups of fellow professionals. He has also written several articles on divorce topics for The Florida Bar Journal and other legal publications. A member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, Mr. Hirschberg has also served on the board of directors of the Young Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar Association. A cum laude graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, he is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
