Doreen Yaffa

Doreen Yaffa is the founding attorney of Yaffa Family Law Group in Boca Raton, Florida, where she empowers clients with clear guidance, efficient processes and legal strategies grounded in rigorous cost–benefit analysis. Respected by her peers for the empathy and professionalism she brings to emotionally charged family law matters, she focuses on all facets of family and matrimonial law. From her Boca Raton headquarters, she represents individuals throughout Palm Beach County and the surrounding communities.

Board-certified as a marital and family law specialist by The Florida Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and Education, Ms. Yaffa draws upon extensive training in mediation and collaborative law to help clients resolve disputes amicably whenever possible. When negotiations stall, she transforms into a formidable courtroom advocate, vigorously defending her clients’ interests in child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and the equitable division of complex marital estates and financial obligations.

A native Floridian in both education and practice, Ms. Yaffa earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in management, from Florida Atlantic University in 1990. She continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 1994. Admitted to The Florida Bar that same year – and to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1995 – she has maintained an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a “Superb” score on Avvo, reflecting her unwavering commitment to excellence and client service.
