Experience:  Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Business Litigation (1999-present). Has provided services to clients in numerous areas of litigation. Past President of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Has had experience in representing plaintiffs and defendants in the following areas:  class action matters, state and federal securities fraud, sexual harassment, discrimination, ERISA, patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, antitrust matters, insurance disputes, contract matters, business torts, condominium association disputes, homeowner association disputes, FINRA arbitrations, AAA arbitrations, bankruptcy matters, probate litigation, and other litigation related matters.

Appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to serve on the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Contract and Business Cases (2009-2018). Recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as one of Florida’s Legal Elites.  Recognized by The Miami Herald as one of the Top Attorneys in Florida 2015.  Recognized by The Daily Business Review as one of Florida’s Most Effective Lawyers 2008. Trial Experience: Has represented clients in numerous trials and arbitrations in state and federal courts throughout the United States, including numerous jury trials. Has been appointed lead counsel in numerous class action cases and derivative actions, including 5 cases in which settlements in excess of $10 million were recovered. Prevailed in numerous trials. Recently obtained a defense verdict from a jury defending against a $4.3 million claim, and obtained a Final Judgment after a bench trial in Federal Court which obtained a defense verdict on a claim of over $25 million and obtained a Judgment for the Defendant on its Counterclaims. Has also recovered trial judgments, including an award in excess of $1.7 million from a Federal District Court, as well as jury awards, and  a punitive damages award from a jury. 

Appellate Experience: Involved in numerous appeals of final orders, non-final orders, and original appellate proceedings, including the research and preparation of briefs and oral argument.  Has argued before the Florida Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fourth District Court of Appeal, and the Second District Court of Appeal.
