Leah Fahey Charbonnet

Leah Fahey Charbonnet is a personal injury attorney admitted to practice law in Florida since 2007. She currently serves her clients through Balkan Patterson & Charbonnet in Boca Raton, Florida, and is also a partner at the firm. Her interest lies in assisting people with issues involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, defective products, premises liability and business litigation. 

For her extensive knowledge and skill in the personal injury field, Ms. Charbonnet was board-certified as a civil trial attorney by The Florida Bar. She has successfully tried numerous jury trials before several federal and state courts and has gained experience by litigating thousands of cases for her clients, corporates and individuals alike. She served on the university’s student-run journal, UMKC Law Review. 

Ms. Charbonnet finished her undergraduate studies at Tufts University in Medford. She later enrolled in the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2006. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Charbonnet worked in an organization where she represented insurance companies. With the added advantage of her knowledge about insurance companies, she is able to effectively counsel and advocate for the victims of catastrophic injuries caused by someone else. With her years of experience, she carefully evaluates all the possible outcomes and helps them in maximizing the settlement to start a new life. Understanding and empathetic, she knows the negative impact that injuries caused through no fault of one's own can have on an individual, and she fights aggressively to defend her clients' freedom and rights.
