Marc C. Brotman is the founder of the firm now known as Brotman Nusbaum Ibrahim in Boca Raton, Florida. Focusing his practice entirely on civil litigation, he represents clients throughout the state who have been harmed by the negligent or willful acts or omissions of others in matters, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, premises liability and wrongful death. A 1978 graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree, Mr. Brotman earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 1982. Admitted to practice in Florida, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and he is board-certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in civil trial law.
Mr. Brotman has served as lead counsel in more than 200 trials and achieved many verdicts and awards in excess of $1 million for his clients. Among his notable cases is a judgment in a negligent supervision case against the Florida Department of Children and Families for $26 million.
