Mr. Lebowitz attended Binghamton University, part of the State University of New York system. He majored in political science and was the speaker at his commencement before receiving a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude and being inducted into The Phi Beta Kappa Society in 2004. Mr. Lebowitz then pursued his legal education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and he served on the University of Florida Journal of Law & Public Policy before obtaining his Juris Doctor with honors, cum laude in 2007.

Mr. Lebowitz’s litigation clients have included heirs, beneficiaries, personal representatives (executors), estate administrators and trustees. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in actions involving will and trust contests based on undue influence and other claims, breaches of fiduciary duties, financial elder abuse and guardianship petitions. In his administration practice, Mr. Lebowitz has assisted fiduciaries and beneficiaries with probate, trust and guardianship matters, and he has handled a variety of post-death controversies involving creditors of the decedents.
