Attorney Benjamin Yormak is the president Yormak Employment & Disability Law based in Bonita Springs, Florida. Serving clients throughout Southwest Florida, including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples and surrounding areas, Mr. Yormak is certified by The Florida Bar as an expert in labor and employment law. He provides invaluable advocacy and support to those who are dealing with complex, pressing legal challenges involving any of the following:

·       Employment law issues such as workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other serious grievances;

·       FMLA matter and PERC appeals;

·       Employee benefits, including long-term disability, ERISA and unemployment benefits.

Through his employment law practice, Mr. Yormak has handled numerous whistleblower claims along with many claims involving fraud against the government in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Among his most notable successes, he helped secure a recovery of over $25 million in a case involving Medicare fraud as well as a settlement of almost $90 million in a national RICO class action. He also has extensive experience handling appeals, and he has conducted lectures and seminars across his region on a variety of employment-related topics.

Honored for his outstanding professionalism and service, Mr. Yormak has earned top rankings from his peers, including recognition from the National Advocates as "Top 40 Under 40." He also holds a Lawyers of Distinction rating, and he has received "Superb, 10 out of 10" client ratings on Avvo.

A 2006 honors graduate of Bowdoin College, Mr. Yormak obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in 2009. He has worked with the U.S. Attorneys Office, and he served as student director of the Volunteer Lawyer's Project as well as chair of the school's Moot Court board. He received the Pro Bono Award his last year in law school in recognition for his selfless contributions to others.

Along with practicing before all Florida state courts, Mr. Yormak is also admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in the state as well as before the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st and 11th circuits, and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. He is also a member of several local, state and national legal organizations, including the National and Florida Employment Lawyers Associations, the Lee County Bar Association and the Southwest Florida Federal Bar Association, among others.
