Jodi Leisure

As managing partner of Florida law firm Carey & Leisure, Jodi Leisure is committed to defending the rights of individuals injured by others. She handles a variety of personal injury matters, including premises liability, nursing home abuse and neglect, and wrongful death. Ms. Leisure is certified as a civil trial lawyer by The Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization and Education, and as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification. She accepts clients in Clearwater, Florida, and throughout Pasco, Pinellas and Hernando counties.

After graduating magna cum laude in 1989 from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, Ms. Leisure earned her Master of Business Administration from Stetson University and her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1999, again graduating magna cum laude. For her excellence in academics, she received the West Group Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award and the Victor O. Wehle Award. While in law school, Ms. Leisure served as an associate member of the Stetson Law Review and gained experience in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida court as the supervising judicial intern. She is admitted to practice law in Florida.

Ms. Leisure's impressive track record of settlements in the $1 million range has earned her the respect of her peers as well as a membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She is an active member of various bars and associations, including the American Association for Justice, The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association and the Stetson Lawyers Association Advisory Council.
