H. Joshua Diamond

The owner of Diamond Law, P.A., H. Joshua Diamond focuses his practice primarily on assisting policy holders who have received unsatisfactory benefit from their insurance claim or have had their insurance claims denied entirely. From the Firm's office in Coral Gables, Florida, he represents clients throughout the state who are trying to obtain coverage for their hurricane, water, lightning, fire or flood damage, automobile collisions, theft and similar claims.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Diamond received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Syracuse University in 1993. While in college, he served an internship with a member of the New York State Assembly. Mr. Diamond then moved to Florida to pursue his legal education and enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law. During his years there, he was a legal intern with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office and clerked for an Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida judge before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 1997. After graduation, Mr. Diamond has been admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

In his 20 years of practice, Mr. Diamond has provided legal representation in South Florida to hundreds of people in the community and the companies they own.  For the past several years, Mr. Diamond has focused his practice on helping consumers navigate the insurance claim process after an unfortunate loss to house, car, boat or other property.  If a consumer's claim is unfairly denied or underpaid, or the insurance company is otherwise not meeting its responsibilities under the insurance policy, Mr. Diamond has years of experience litigating and prosecuting cases in the civil courthouses of South Florida and, over his career, has successfully tried many cases to jury verdict in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties.   

Mr. Diamond actively participates in several organizations, including the Florida Justice Association, Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and the Coral Gables Bar Association. Mr. Diamond also provides legal services on a pro bono basis to those in need of such services in South Florida, including consumers with pending insurance claims under investigation by insurance companies and to children in need of legal representation through Lawyers for Children America.
