Mark Abzug

Mark Abzug is an accomplished family law attorney with over 30 years of litigation experience serving clients in the Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale metro area. Working with the Law Offices of Mark Abzug, P.A., in Coral Springs, Florida, he handles matters involving divorce, child custody and support, alimony, domestic violence injunctions, contempt proceedings and paternity, among others.

Mr. Abzug graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany. To further hone his legal knowledge, he enrolled in the Widener University Delaware Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1991. The following year, he was admitted to The Florida Bar. He is also permitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Additionally, he serves as a certified family mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida.

As an active member of the Broward County Bar Association, Mr. Abzug serves on the Professional Responsibility Committee, the Bench & Bar Committee and the Judicial Selection and Tenure Committee. He is also a member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar. Additionally, he is a trained professional at the Collaborative Family Law Professionals of South Florida, working to help clients find an optimal solution in the best interest of the entire family.

In addition to his continuous engagement in the legal community, Mr. Abzug served as a Broward County volunteer guardian ad litem, voicing for the abused, neglected and abandoned children at court.
