Gary B. Englander

Gary B. Englander is a co-founder of Englander Peebles. Working out of the firm’s main office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, representing clients in Broward and Miami-Dade counties as well as other parts of the state. Mr. Englander is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the District of Columbia, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Englander has been able to obtain millions of dollars in compensation through jury verdicts and negotiated settlements for his clients who have incurred significant losses due to the negligence of other parties. The cases that he has worked on have included premises liability, motor vehicle crashes, auto-pedestrian accidents, wrongful death, animal bites, negligent security, and defective products. He is a life member of the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His successful track record both in and out of the courtroom has led to a great deal of positive recognition from his colleagues, including an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 “Superb” peer-review rating through Avvo. In addition, Mr. Englander has been named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40.

Mr. Englander majored in political science at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. He remained in the state for his legal education, enrolling at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. While he was there, Mr. Englander was the executive editor of the International Citator and Research Guide, and he gained litigation experience as a certified legal intern with the Office of the State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit before obtaining his Juris Doctor summa cum laude in 2010.
