Attorney Hyram M. Montero founded his Fort Lauderdale personal injury law firm, Hyram M. Mr. Montero, an Illinois native, began his legal career in 1980 after earning his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School and his approval to practice law in the state of Illinois. In 1982, The Florida Bar followed suit with its approval, as have the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
In 1988, attorney Montero founded the first law firm in Broward County that offered legal services in multiple languages, thanks to his ability to speak both Spanish and Italian fluently. Today, he continues to proudly represent clients from different backgrounds. In addition, he serves the residents of South Florida's Hispanic and immigrant communities by serving as an executive board member emeritus with Hispanic Unity of Florida.
