Jason Kreiss

Jason Kreiss is a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, based criminal defense attorney. He is the founder of The Kreiss Law Firm and handles complex criminal cases in Florida and nationwide in federal court.   

Mr. Kreiss has been a criminal defense attorney for more than 25 years and has extensive litigation and negotiation experience in both federal and state court. Mr. Kreiss and his firm possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and courtroom experience to obtain positive results for their clients.

Mr. Kreiss is a member and past president of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also sits on the board of directors of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In 2024, Mr. Kreiss was awarded the Champion of Justice award from the Broward Association of Criminal Justice.

Mr. Kreiss earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He holds licenses to practice in Florida and the United States District Courts for the southern, middle, and northern districts of Florida, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Mr. Kreiss has also practiced in federal court in New York, New Jersey, California, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, North Dakota, and Colorado.
