Jennifer Grant

The founder of her own law firm since 2009, Jennifer Grant focuses her practice primarily on complex trust, estate, and guardianship litigation. Her firm assists families, fiduciaries and beneficiaries in cases involving will contests, fiduciary removal and defense, the appointment of guardians, trust and estate administration, elder exploitation and similar matters. Prior to focusing on these areas, Jennifer was a commercial litigator representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all types of business disputes involving contract breaches, fraud, and shareholder and partnership disputes among other issues. This experience providers her the skill set needed to pursue whatever rights her clients have in these areas including when an estate or trust holds disputed business interests.  Jennifer has received recognition from her clients and fellow attorneys alike for her successful track record, dedication to helping clients make the right decision for them, and swift action towards resolution.  Jennifer also prides herself on being accessible and available to her clients during these stressful times.

Jennifer attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism and graduate degree, her Juris Doctor. Jennifer obtained her LLM (masters of law) in estate planning from the University of Miami, Heckerling Institute.  Prior to Jennifer having her own firm, Jennifer worked at prominent, large Florida law firms, where she gained significant experience in complex civil litigation cases involving shareholder and partner disputes, professional negligence, intellectual property issues, and business torts. There, she also received training in probate and trust administration before starting her own firm in December 2009.

Ms. Grant is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar and thus is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. A member of several professional organizations and an avid community volunteer, Ms. Grant also presently sits on the board of directors for the American Cancer Society.
