Jonathan Pollard is the principal of Pollard PLLC, a Fort Lauderdale-based litigation boutique focused on employment and competition law. He has extensive experience litigating non-compete, trade secret and employment cases. Jonathan has been interviewed about non-compete and trade secret issues by reporters from Bloomberg, FundFire, Inc. Magazine, and more. He has taught continuing legal education courses to other lawyers on topics related to non-compete and trade secret litigation. In addition to litigation, Jonathan routinely advises both companies and individual on related issues including employee poaching and raiding, hiring decisions and the purchase or sale of business interests.
Mr. Pollard is admitted to practice law before the state courts of Florida as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to establishing his own firm, he was an attorney at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP where he represented numerous blue chip companies in complex securities and antitrust cases.
Mr. Pollard is a magna cum laude graduate of Cornell University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Pollard attended law school at Georgetown University on a scholarship and served as an associate editor of the Law Review.
