ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Michelle specializes in brand management (trademark & copyright), corporate governance (internal practices designed to maximize liability protection) and risk management (general counsel for management and oversight of litigation in order to maximize return and minimize liability exposure). With a background in business & commercial litigation, she uses her litigation experience to help businesses negotiate large scale transactions and mitigate litigation risk exposure. She also handles trademarks and brand management protection.

PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT & ACHIEVEMENTS

Since beginning her practice as an Attorney, Michelle has demonstrated her passion for working with businesses and is an active litigator and serves as corporate counsel to several companies. She is also volunteers her time regularly to mentoring young lawyers and law students.  Michelle has been appointed as the Senior Vice Chair of the Inclusion Mentorship and Fellowship Committee for the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar; Florida's leading voluntary bar association in all business matters including legislative work. She has also served as the Membership Chair for CREW's Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale Chapter. CREW is a national organization dedicated to promoting women and diversity in the Commercial Real Estate field on a national and local level. She serves on the Publications Committee for the Broward County Bar Association's monthly magazine, The Barrister; serves on the member benefits Committee of the Florida Bar; was a Coach for NSU Law's Florida Bar Auxillary Program, where she asssisted students through Bar prep; is an active member of the the Shepard Broad College of Law's Alumni Association, regularly dedicating her time to volunteer efforts at the law school; and she currently serves on the Business Court Task Force Committee for the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, and serves as second Vice Chair to the IMF Committee for the Business Law Section. Michelle is also the Legal Counsel to CREW: Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton Chapter. She has had various publications including articles in the Miami Herald online, the Daily Business Review, and the Broward County Barrister.

PERSONAL

Michelle's passions include fitness and health (she is a former fitness competitor and personal trainer), going to the beach and watching the sunrise, mentoring young lawyers and law students, and spending time with her loved ones. She is the second oldest of five siblings. Michelle currently lives near the sunny beaches of Fort Lauderdale.
