A 1994 graduate of the University of Miami, Ms. Benjamin-Wise received a law school scholarship from the Florida Woman Lawyers Association and obtained her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard School of Law in 2001. She holds her admission to practice before all Florida state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Supreme Court.

A leader in her legal community, Ms. Benjamin-Wise currently serves as executive counsel member of The Florida Bar's Family Law Section, and she has helped a numerous of leadership roles within the organization. She is also the president of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association, and she is a member of the Susan Greenberg Family Law American Inn of Court of the Palm Beaches, the South Florida Collaborative Law Association and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, among her many other professional affiliations.

Ms. Benjamin-Wise also had numerous publications to her credit, and she has conducted lectures and continuing legal education seminars across her region on a variety of legal topics. In support of her local community, she served on the board of directors of the Florence Fuller Child Development Center, and she is highly active in a number of other civic, charitable and professional organizations across her area.

While in law school, she served as Team Editor of her Moot Court team, and she completed an internship with the international internship program in Cambridge, England.
