He is Past-President of the North Broward Bar Association, and has previously served as vice chairman of the Florida Bar Seventeenth Circuit Grievance Committee, and as well as a member of the board of directors of the Broward County Bar Association. He is a member of The Florida Bar Family Law Section, and has served on various committees over the years.

Mr. House received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He holds licenses to practice law before all Florida state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Trial Bar, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
