Barbara Walsh

Barbara Walsh is a personal injury attorney at the firm Viles & Beckman, LLC, in Fort Myers, Florida. She was authorized to practice law in the state of Florida since 2021 by The Florida Bar. She defends the rights of individuals who have been victims to another person’s careless and reckless actions, including cases involving the following:

Ms. Walsh completed her undergraduate studies in 2017 at the Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myers, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Florida legal studies. She decided to pursue her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at the Ave Maria School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 2021.

In 2016, Ms. Walsh joined the Office of the State Attorney, 20^th Judicial Court in Fort Myers as a victim advocate. While here, she received training on the Victim of Crime Act, which equipped her with the relevant skills to communicate with and support crime victims by setting up a network of assistance.

Quickly earning her certification as a legal intern, Ms. Walsh progressed to the post of assistant state attorney. She then became a member of Viles & Beckman, LLC. She participates actively in the legal industry and has memberships in The Florida Bar, the Lee County Bar Association and the Hendry-Glades Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
