An associate attorney with Parvey & Frankel, Carlos J. Cavenago III uses his prosecution background to assist injured victims in Fort Myers, Florida, in civil litigation. He handles cases involving personal injury, strict liability, insurance disputes, negligent security and uninsured motorist coverage.

A native of Southwest Florida, Mr. Cavenago attended Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice, and he was the first student to be given the Emphasis in Law Studies honor. He received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2004.

While working for the State Attorney’s Office for the 20th Judicial Circuit, Mr. Cavenago discovered his passion for helping people who were victims of others’ actions. Today, he uses that passion to help people attain civil justice. He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Mr. Cavenago was given the honor of AV-Preeminent* rating from Martindale-Hubbell for his legal skills and ethical standards.

In addition to his legal contributions to the community, Mr. Cavenago holds a yearly fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, serves as a board member on the Coastal Conservation Association, and is a member of the Rotary Club. He also has taught law courses to students at Florida Gulf Coast University.
