    Over the course of her legal career spanning more than six years, Ms. Scott has achieved considerable success advocating on behalf of her clients during complex civil litigation proceedings in state and federal courts across her region. Along with maintaining a successful trial practice, she also has extensive experience handling mediations and arbitrations, and she routinely provides invaluable counsel to her clients regarding all aspects of their companies' operations and employment-related issues.

    Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Scott led a successful career in the investment and insurance industries. During this time, she focused primarily on assisting high net worth individuals with their complex investment needs and managed a client base that had more than $400 million in highly diversified portfolios. She also helped manage new business processes and other matters for high net worth clients of a boutique insurance firm.

    Drawing upon her past experience, Ms. Scott possesses a unique skillset that enables her to better address her clients' needs and more readily devise the best strategies possible to help them achieve their goals efficiently and cost-effectively. Honored for her professionalism and service, she has earned top rankings from her peers as well as a Leader in the Law designation from the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.

    Lending further credence to her leadership skills, Ms. Scott has served as treasurer for the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers and secretary of the National Bar Association's Isaac Anderson Jr. Chapter. She is a member of the Greater Fort Myers Leadership Class of 2016. Among her other professional affiliations, Ms. Scott is a member of The Florida Bar and the Lee County and American Bar Associations. 

    Additionally, Ms. Scott serves on the adjunct legal faculty at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she teaches business law course, and she has conducted numerous lectures and seminars across her region on a variety of legal topics. She has also appeared on local televised news outlets, where she has offered in-depth legal commentary on various subjects.

    A 2005 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Ms. Scott obtained her Juris Doctor cum laude from Charlotte School of Law in 2012. She is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
