Michael Beckman

As the CEO and owner of Viles & Beckman, The 5 Star Law Firm®, located in Fort Myers, Michael Beckman provides legal representation to individuals and families throughout Florida in complicated personal injury and civil litigation matters. He focuses his practice on advocating for those who have suffered serious injuries due to negligence, helping clients pursue compensation and accountability through focused and results-oriented representation.

Mr. Beckman handles a wide range of cases, including auto accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents and slip-and-fall incidents. He also represents clients in cases involving brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and neglect, defective and dangerous products, prescription drug defects, animal and dog bites, and class-action lawsuits. His work often involves handling intense disputes against insurance companies and corporate defendants, guiding clients through each stage of the legal process from the initial consultation to resolution.

Mr. Beckman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in 1993. Later, he went on to pursue his legal education at the Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly known as Texas Wesleyan School of Law), where he laid the foundation for his legal career and earned his Juris Doctor in 1997.

Admitted to practice law in Florida in 1997, Mr. Beckman is also admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is an active member of the Lee County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice and the Florida Chapters American Board of Trial Advocates.
