Lyudmila (Luda) Kogan

Since 2009, Lyudmila Kogan has distinguished herself as a dedicated and resourceful attorney in the State of Florida. As the founding principal of Kogan Law P.A. in Hallandale Beach, she focuses on a wide array of civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, business conflicts, fraud claims, civil theft, worthless check actions, equitable remedies, creditor-debtor rights and related general litigation. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a reputation for crafting creative legal strategies designed to secure prompt resolution and optimal recovery for her clients.

Committed to excellence at every stage of the collection process, Ms. Kogan assists individuals and companies, both large and small, in pursuing accounts receivable, whether through presuit negotiation or post-judgment enforcement. She takes pride in guiding clients through each procedural milestone, from filing initial pleadings and engaging in vigorous discovery to negotiating settlements and enforcing judgments. 

Ms. Kogan’s clientele encompasses local and national accounting and law firms, private lenders, automobile dealerships, fuel suppliers, logistics and fulfillment enterprises, aviation consultants, real estate brokers and insurance carriers. Leveraging advanced negotiation tactics and in-depth legal scholarship, she consistently achieves favorable outcomes while minimizing cost and time for her clients.

Beyond her litigation practice, Ms. Kogan serves as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and contributes her expertise as a member of the 17th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee for The Florida Bar. She is also a certified arbitrator with The Florida Bar Fee Arbitration Program and volunteers as an attorney with Lawyers for Children’s America, demonstrating her commitment to both the legal profession and her community. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

A graduate of Florida International University College of Law, Ms. Kogan maintains a strong connection to South Florida’s Russian-speaking community. Originally from Belarus, she is fluent in Russian and an active member of the Russian American Bar Association of Florida, as well as the Miami-Dade Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association.
