Ms. Fischer completed her undergraduate studies in 1979, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Redlands. She went on to attend the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, where her legal acumen was evident through her active involvement in on-campus activities. She received her Juris Doctor in 1982, and a year later, she obtained her license to practice law in California and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In 1990, she became licensed to practice law in Florida, and she has also gained admission to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
