    David M. Robbins is the founder of the Epstein & Robbins law office in Jacksonville, Florida, where he has defended the rights of citizens for over 40 years. While providing strong representation in many areas of criminal law, the primary focus of Mr. Robbins’ practice is DUI defense. In fact, he has spent his career researching DUI laws in order to provide the most effective representation possible for those accused of alcohol-related crimes.

    After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Florida, Mr. Robbins attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to practice law in Florida in 1972. After working as an assistant state attorney for several years, he began his private practice, gathering like-minded lawyers to assist him in his goal of serving people when criminal charges impact their lives. He has subsequently earned an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell.

    During his decades practicing law, Mr. Robbins has earned a reputation for his knowledge and understanding of DUI laws and defense strategies. He lectures frequently at the annual DUI seminar, “Blood, Breath and Tears,” sponsored by the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, of which he is a member. Mr. Robbins is also a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

    Mr. Robbins has held numerous committee positions in The Florida Bar. He is active in the community where he lives with his wife and daughters, and he also stays abreast of civic affairs.
