Attorney Deborah L. Greene is a shareholder at Combs Greene in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Greene’s practice is focused on business and family law at both the trial and appellate levels and serves a variety of clients throughout the Jacksonville area.
A former Montgomery academic scholar at Lynchburg College, Ms. Greene went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Florida State University and her law degree from Florida State University College of Law. She has been admitted to practice law since 1992.
Along with being admitted to practice in Florida state courts, Ms. Greene is licensed to appear before federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. She was previously admitted to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 9th and 11th Circuits.
Ms. Greene enjoys being active in a variety of legal activities outside of her law practice. Throughout her career, she has spoken at various conferences and seminars for groups such as the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and Mandarin Women’s Club.
In addition, Ms. Greene is active in professional organizations. She belongs to the Jacksonville Bar Association, The Florida Bar and the Florida Family Law American Inn of Court. Her eagerness to be a leader has led her to serve as a member of the Florida Bar’s family rules committee and in various roles for different groups over the years.
Ms. Greene has received many accolades for her work, including being listed in the Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers. She also belongs to the honor society Phi Eta Sigma and the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta.
