John M. Henderlite, III

John M. Henderlite, III, is a partner at Sasso Guerrero & Henderlite, based in Jacksonville, where he offers compassionate legal support to individuals and families all across Florida. He primarily focuses his practice on family law matters, including divorce and separation, child custody and child support. He represents clients in sensitive domestic disputes, providing strategic guidance tailored to protect their rights and the best interests of their families.

Board-certified in marital and family law by The Florida Bar, Mr. Henderlite is also certified as a family law mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida. He has established himself as an expert in the field of matrimonial and family law. He works closely with clients to resolve disputes involving parenting plans, time-sharing, financial support and complex asset division. He is committed to helping individuals and families reach practical, sustainable solutions, whether through negotiation, mediation or litigation when necessary.

Academically, Mr. Henderlite earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Davidson College in 2006. He then went on to attend the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he honed his shrewd legal acumen and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2010. After successfully clearing the bar, he became licensed to practice law in Florida in 2011.

An active member of the legal and local community, Mr. Henderlite serves on the Executive Committee of the Florida Family Law American Inn of Court and is also a member of the organization. He also serves as a co-chair of the Jacksonville Bar Association Family Law Committee. Additionally, he is a member of The Florida Bar.
