Matthew H. Hinson

Matthew Hinson serves as the managing partner of The Hinson Law Firm, P.A., located in Jacksonville, Florida. He practices estate planning and landlord-tenant law, serving clients in and around Jacksonville. His legal practice encompasses:

Mr. Hinson earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Davidson College in 2003 and graduated cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011. He is licensed to practice law before all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Since beginning his legal career in 2011, Mr. Hinson has handled numerous cases, particularly focusing on probate and guardianship needs related to personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death. He is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and has previously co-chaired its Solo Practitioner and Small Firm Committee. He also sits on the board of directors of the Jacksonville Justice Association. His past roles include being an associate member and pupil member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court. He has also contributed as an attorney adviser for the mock trial team at The Bolles School and has presented at continuing legal education conferences.
