Having tried dozens of cases to verdict, he has obtained numerous high-dollar jury awards and negotiated many favorable settlements. Mr. Posgay also assists clients whose insurance claims have been disputed or denied in bad faith by their insurers. Admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.

    Majoring in political science at the University of Florida, Mr. Posgay received a bachelor’s degree in 1991. Remaining in Gainesville, he then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was an editor on the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy before being awarded his law degree in 1994. Mr. Posgay was an insurance defense attorney before joining Coker Law in 2008.
