A loved one is killed or catastrophically injured in a truck accident. You come to learn that the accident was not an unlucky coincidence. It was completely preventable – the result of dangerous, systemic practices that are widespread in the trucking industry and that continue to jeopardize the lives of innocent people on the roads., The Real Culprits Behind Truck Accidents And Why They're Rarely Held Accountable, 2019

These comments were made by fellow attorneys during the annual nomination process.
“Stefano Portigliatti is an example of what all lawyers should strive to be: he is always professional, he is knowledgable about the law and strategic in his litigation practice, cares about his clients, and goes above and beyond to help his fellow lawyers become better. He takes the time to not only answer other lawyers' questions, but also to provide the inside baseball pragmatic solutions to problems in other lawyers' cases. He does all of that with a smile and a sense of genuineness not abundant in our profession. ”
“Stefano is an outstanding attorney and mentor to other attorneys practicing plaintiff's personal injury law and/or interested in commercial trucking accident cases. He deserves to be recognized for his dedication to his clients and the legal community. ”
