Colby Kempe

Colby Kempe has been serving at the law firm Kempe, from its Jupiter office in Florida since 2021. Focusing his practice on business law and estate planning, he brings a wealth of experience to the firm gained from years of educational excellence.

Graduating with honors from Ave Maria School of Law in 2020, Mr. Kempe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American history from Tufts University. His undergraduate tenure includes accolades as a member of the NCAA National Championship lacrosse teams in 2014 and 2015. Prior to Tufts, he contributed to securing two state championship lacrosse victories at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

After achieving his master’s degree in tax law with honors from the University of Florida – Levin College of Law, Mr. Kempe’s pursuit of a multifaceted education extended to the Tuck School of Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College, focusing on international business, finance and investment banking. His professional experience includes a significant role as an intern to Tom Rooney in Washington, D.C., during the Summer of 2016.

Actively engaged in the legal community, Mr. Kempe contributes his skills to various legal associations, serving in several roles. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law (RPPTL) section of The Florida Bar, the Estate & Probate Continuing Legal Education Committee in the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the American Bar Association within the Tax Section Investment Management and Estate and Gift Tax Committees.
