Michelle N. DeLong

Attorney Michelle N. DeLong is the owner and managing partner of Michelle N. DeLong, PLLC, in Jupiter, Florida. Her practice is devoted to advocating for plaintiffs, with a particular focus on medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases. Over the years, she has successfully litigated numerous cases, achieving resolutions for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries or lost loved ones to wrongful death. Her approach combines compassion with vigorous advocacy, traits that her clients deeply appreciate.

In 2024, Ms. DeLong founded her own firm with a mission to deliver high-quality and empathetic legal services to clients facing profound personal challenges. Before establishing her firm, she spearheaded the medical malpractice and nursing home negligence division at a start-up law firm, where she was instrumental in its development from inception. Her earlier experience includes a tenure at a South Florida boutique law firm, where she dealt with complex medical malpractice cases, enhancing her proficiency in this field. Additionally, she has prosecuted complex commercial litigation matters in both Florida state and federal courts.

Ms. DeLong’s academic credentials are equally impressive. She earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University, graduating magna cum laude. During her law studies, she was an active member of the Nova Law Review, securing a first-place win in the American Bar Association Mendes Hershman Student Writing Contest. Her undergraduate degree in business administration, with a major in marketing, was obtained from the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

Beyond her legal practice, Ms. DeLong is heavily involved in the Florida Justice Association (FJA), serving as a current elected board member and a past chair of the FJA Women’s Caucus.
