Elizabeth L. Parker

Elizabeth L. Parker is a member of the law firm of George Gesten McDonald, PLLC, located in Lake Worth, Florida. With more than 24 years of experience in the field of law, she has been focusing her practice exclusively on victim advocacy and criminal defense matters. She serves as the chair of the firm’s Victims' Rights and Personal Injury Practice Groups.

Ms. Parker fights for the rights of all crime victims, including children who have been sexually abused, victims of domestic abuse, those who have been sexually assaulted, and the families of homicide victims. She collaborates with law enforcement and prosecutors in her capacity as a crime victim advocate in order to represent the victim's interests and help them throughout the criminal justice system.

Providing aggressive and effective advocacy on behalf of crime victims, Ms. Parker is devoted to being caring and empathic while working on any case. She works to secure justice for her clients while upholding their needs and best interests. She has received a “Superb” rating on Avvo along with numerous testimonials from her satisfied clients.

In 1994, Ms. Parker obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and criminology at Auburn University. She studied law at the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor in 1998. She started her legal career by serving as an assistant state attorney at the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office in the 15th Judicial Circuit.

At the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office, Ms. Parker became the Deputy Chief of the County Court and later the Chief of the County Court Division and the Domestic Violence Division. In 2009, she became the Chief Assistant State Attorney until 2011.

Ms. Parker has been featured on the Nancy Grace show and In Session(Court TV), where she has served as a legal analyst for prominent cases. Additionally, she has appeared on USA TODAY, 20/20, Dateline, Sins and Secrets, American Greed, Nothing Personal and SNAPPED.

Giving back to society, Ms. Parker spends her time involved in community activities. She is currently a board member at the Pet Haven Rescue and was a former board member of the KidSafe Foundation.
