Jose L. Becerra

Jose L. Becerra is a personal injury attorney at The Ferraro Law Firm, P.A., in Miami, Florida. Mr. Becerra represents clients throughout the Miami area in personal injury cases involving asbestos litigation, mesothelioma, product liability, toxic torts and wrongful death. He also has experience with family law cases involving divorce, child custody, child support and post-judgment disputes.

During law school, Mr. Becerra participated in various appellate advocacy competitions and served as interschool vice president of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. He was the recipient of several academic scholarships and belonged to the International and Comparative Law Review. He gained legal experience by interning for two different federal district court judges.

Following law school graduation, Mr. Becerra passed the Florida bar exam and received his license to practice law before all Florida state courts. He is also qualified to appear and practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
