Natalia M. Salas is a Partner at The Ferraro Law Firm, where she leads high-stakes litigation involving multidistrict litigation (MDL), mass torts, complex commercial disputes, and class actions. A former federal law clerk for the Honorable James Lawrence King, she brings unique depth to MDL practice, having helped oversee the landmark In re Checking Account Overdraft Litigation, which resulted in over $1 billion in settlements.
Ms. Salas currently holds leadership roles in several major MDLs, including serving as Lead Counsel in the Short Squeeze Trading Litigation, Executive Committee Member in the Insulin Pricing Litigation, and Discovery Subcommittee Member in the AFFF PFAS MDL, which has secured over $13 billion in settlements to date.
Previously, she served as Assistant General Counsel at the University of Miami and practiced at both an Am Law 50 firm and a high-profile litigation boutique. Her litigation experience spans complex commercial cases, cross-border disputes, and trial and appellate advocacy.
Ms. Salas earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. from Duke University. She is fluent in Spanish, serves on the Executive Council of The Florida Bar’s Trial Lawyers Section, and is active in pro bono work for human trafficking survivors.
For Dade Legal Aid, Ms. Salas is an Attorney Ad Litem in human trafficking. In 2004, she earned an undergraduate degree from Duke University, then studied law and graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007.
