Imran Malik

With over 15 years of legal experience, attorney Imran Malik serves clients from the Maitland, Florida, law firm of Malik Law P.A. As the owner and principal attorney at the firm, he passionately protects the best interests of his clients and concentrates his practice on insurance litigation, personal injury, construction litigation and criminal defense.

Licensed to practice law in Florida since 2007, Mr. Malik obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Kentucky in 2001. He then attended the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2007. While there, he served as the vice justice of the Moot Court Honors Board and as a mentor for first-year law students. He later worked as a law clerk for Judge Walter Komanski and as a certified legal intern at the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Malik has defended clients in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Volusia counties in a variety of criminal matters such as DUI and DWI, assault and battery, domestic violence and child abuse cases. He has also negotiated beneficial settlements and successfully litigated many personal injury cases on behalf of Florida residents.

When not running the firm, Mr. Malik focuses his efforts on giving back to the community. He frequently accepts court appointments as guardian ad litem and volunteers to provide services to those in need through the Orange County Teen Court Program.
