Paul C. Perkins, Jr.

A partner at the law firm of Paul & Perkins PA located in Maitland, Florida, Paul C. Perkins, Jr., provides sound and knowledgeable counsel to clients across his region who are dealing with legal matters involving personal injury and insurance law, including automobile accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, wrongful death claims, homeowners insurance claims, business insurance claims and automobile damage claims. 

With over 30 years of experience practicing law, Mr. Perkins has a genuine concern for those who have been injured because of another party’s negligence and through no fault of one’s own. He is a compassionate and empathetic attorney who is committed firmly to his clients’ needs. He zealously advocates for their rights and liberties and provides personal attention to each client’s case.  

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Morehouse College, Mr. Perkins obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. He started off his law practice defending insurance companies, and since 1993, he has solely focused on representing individuals against the big insurance companies. 

Actively associated with the legal community, Mr. Perkins has memberships in The Florida Bar and the Florida Justice Association. He has served as the chairman of the diversity committee of the Orange County Bar Association and as a trustee board member at the WMFE PBS Station. He has also been  member of the Health Care Center for the Homeless and chairman of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 5th DCA. He has been selected as member of the both the American Board of Trial Advocates and the International Society of Barristers, two of the most highly selective organizations of trial attorneys in existence. 

Mr. Perkins is also enthusiastic about volunteering his time to various community associations including the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, the Trinity Preparatory School’s Board of Trustees, the Safehouse of Seminole Board and the St Andrew Catholic School and the University of Florida Levin College of Law Board of Trustees.  Recently, Mr. Perkins along with two other University of Florida Law school alums helped establish the John Lewis HBCU Scholarship Program at UF Law School, which provides a full tuition scholarship for graduates of HBCUs at the school.  

The remarkable legal accomplishments Mr. Perkins has rendered to the legal community have earned him numerous accolades and recognition, including being AV Preeminent* peer review-rated by Martindale Hubbell and receiving an Avvo rating of “Superb.” For having obtained several favorable verdicts and settlements for his clients, he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
