Ruth C. Rhodes established Rhodes Law, P.A., in 2010 to offer full-service elder law guidance to the residents of Brevard County and Melbourne, Florida. She recognizes the critical role elder law plays in preparing for the unpredictable and unavoidable. With a deep-seated passion for aiding her clients, she utilizes her vast knowledge and experience to tailor plans that cater to their unique family and individual needs.
Whether it's estate planning, wills or trusts, guardianship, asset protection, Medicare/Medicaid, powers of attorney, probate/trust administration, guardian advocacy or navigating the court system, Ms. Rhodes is committed to providing top-notch assistance.
After completing her paralegal studies with high honors, Ms. Rhodes attended Western New Mexico University where she pursued her Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and graduated in 1996. During her time there, she was selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and bestowed with the Outstanding Administration of Justice Student award. She also served as the president of the Criminal Justice Club.
In 2006, Ms. Rhodes achieved the highest academic honor of being named a valedictorian when she earned her Juris Doctor from the Florida A&M University College of Law. During her time there, she was a distinguished member of the university's law review, showcasing her exceptional legal skills. She was also appreciated for her achievements in local government law and awarded The Florida Bar's prestigious Outstanding Law Student award.
As a part of devoting significant time and effort to the affairs of his community, Ms. Rhodes taught paralegal students as an adjunct professor at Everest University for over four years. She is an active member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and the Brevard County Bar Association.
Honoring her professionalism and accomplishments, Ms. Rhodes was peer-review rated Distinguished* through Martindale-Hubbell in 2022 and the American Institute of Legal Counsel included her in their 10 Best Attorneys list. Moreover, she has received several five-star reviews along with a "Superb" rating on Avvo.
