Aliette DelPozo Rodz is the managing partner at Shutts & Bowen LLP in Miami, Florida. As chair of the international litigation and arbitration practice group and the Cuba task force of the firm, she serves as lead trial counsel for high-stakes disputes worldwide. Her formidable practice spans critical sectors like political law, energy, aerospace and financial services. From federal courtrooms to global arbitrations, she masterfully navigates complex jury trials and preliminary injunctions with exceptional precision.

Leveraging extensive litigation experience across the real estate, banking, aviation and power generation sectors, Ms. Rodz represents diverse entities, from hedge funds to hoteliers, in complex business disputes, commercial foreclosures and contract cases. Experienced in cross-border disputes, she skillfully navigates international discovery, Hague Convention procedures and global arbitrations, including the International Criminal Court and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

Completing her undergraduate studies in business administration from Florida International University, Ms. Rodz pursued her law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She earned her Juris Doctor in 1999 and, in the same year, was admitted to The Florida Bar. Currently, she serves as the Interlaw ambassador for her firm, connecting it to an elite global network of over 8,000 lawyers across 150 cities worldwide.
