Deborah B. Marks

Licensed to practice in Florida since 1982, Deborah B. Marks serves as an attorney and counselor at Deborah Marks, PLLC, in Miami, Florida. Basing her practice in Southeast Florida, her practice encompasses matters regarding family law, including trusts and litigation. She is board-certified by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and has represented clients in both federal and state courts in several appellate matters.

Graduating magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University, Ms. Marks completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and business administration in 1979. She went on to secure her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1982. Focused on alleviating the difficulties of clients who are fighting for their rights, she has proactively worked toward creating legislation in the arenas of family law and real estate property.

An active member of the Florida legal community, Ms. Marks has chaired legislation committees that wrote the rules governing family law and those concerning the Appellate Board Certification. She understands the significance of the cases she takes up and the impact their outcome can have on the lives of her clients.
