Jamaal R. Jones

The founder and principal attorney of Jones Health Law, Jamaal R. Jones, provides skilled representation across Miami, Florida. Leveraging extensive experience across varied legal areas, including business disputes and family law, he delivers strategic, comprehensive counsel to healthcare organizations, medical professionals and business owners navigating complex operational and regulatory landscapes.

Mr. Jones earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland before receiving his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. While inDuring law school, he served as president of the Health Law Society and was among a select few awarded a specialized Health Law concentration. Licensed in Florida since 2011, he is also admitted to practice in Tennessee, Washington, D.C., and before the prestigious bench of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Jones honed his legal skills at leading Florida health law firms. During law school, he gained valuable prosecutorial insight as the sole clerk for the Florida Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Miami. Having spent years litigating complex health law disputes, he expanded his practice to guide clients through delicate regulatory compliance, administrative enforcement actions and multi-faceted healthcare corporate transactions.

Beyond his firm, Mr. Jones is a recognized thought leader shaping the health law landscape nationwide. He serves as vice chair of the Physician Organization Practice Group for the American Health Law Association and is the past chair of the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar.
