Julio Cesar Torrente

Julio Cesar Torrente is the owner and founder of the Torrente Defense, P.A., based in Miami, Florida. He offers legal representation to clients facing criminal charges throughout the surrounding region. He primarily focuses his practice on criminal defense law, including DUI/DWI, traffic violations, drug crimes, domestic violence, misdemeanors, theft, motor vehicle offenses, felonies, assault and battery, arrest and arraignments, juvenile delinquency and weapons charges.

Within a relatively short period of time, Mr. Torrente has made mammoth strides within his legal community through his pristine, client-centric practice that emphasizes personalized attention, meticulous focus and an unwavering work ethic that stops short of nothing in providing his clients with the relief they deserve.

Mr. Torrente graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in criminal justice from St. Thomas University. Later, he went on to attend the St. Thomas University School of Law, where he honed his legal acumen and talents, achieving the top ranking in Florida Civil Practice and Legal Methods and Writing. He received his Juris Doctor in 2022, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Florida.

A consummate professional through and through, Mr. Torrente is a member of The Florida Bar Criminal Law Section and Trial Lawyers Section. He is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers - Miami Chapter, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Trial Lawyers and the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys. Additionally, he serves on the board of The Florida Bar Media & Communications Law Committee.
