Michelle G. Hasbun practices family law in the South Florida area at her firm, Hasbun and Mendoza, PLLC, a full-service family law and mediation firm. Ms. Hasbun’s practice focuses on family law, handling complex contested divorce cases as well as cases involving custody disputes, domestic violence, paternity, property matters, post-judgment modifications, parental relocation, business valuations, adoptions, appeals, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.Â
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami in 1994, where she received a double major in English and French and a minor in psychology, Ms. Hasbun earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1997. In 2000, Ms. Hasbun earned her master’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in health administration, from the University of Miami School of Business.
Ms. Hasbun has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1998 and was admitted to practice before the U.S. district courts for the Southern District of Florida that same year. Ms. Hasbun has been a Florida Supreme Court-certified family law and county mediator since 2007. She is a member of the family law section of The Florida Bar.
Ms. Hasbun was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, and in 1980 moved to Miami, Florida, where she has resided since. She is fluent in both Spanish and French.  In 2017, Ms. Hasbun became a proud mother.
