Peter A. Tappert

Attorney Peter A. Tappert is a shareholder with the Weissman & Dervishi, P.A., law firm in Miami, Florida. A 2003 graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Mr. Tappert returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006. The Florida Bar admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

An active leader in his legal community, Mr. Tappert is a member of The Florida Bar's Business Law Section, and he is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Coral Gables Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, among his other professional affiliations. He also serves as an agent for the Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Attorneys' Title Fund Services.
