Attorney Richard C. Wolfe is the founder and managing partner of Wolfe Law Miami, P.A., in Miami, Florida. A nationally ranked lawyer with more than 37 years of legal experience, Mr. Wolfe has gained a reputation as an authority in entertainment and business law, and he provides unmatched counsel and support to clients throughout South Florida in the music, television, film and recording industries.

Through his entertainment law practice, Mr. Wolfe has represented some of the biggest names in show business as well as many record companies, publishing companies, distribution companies and others. He has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts across the country, achieving more than 40 published decisions, and he routinely handles matters involving business planning, intellectual property and copyright claims, royalty disputes and endorsement contracts, and other areas.

Equally successful in his business law practice, Mr. Wolfe holds his board certification in business litigation from The Florida Bar, and he has represented a variety of entertainment companies in various legal disputes. He has also become the go-to attorney for many other prominent entertainment lawyers across the country who need assistance litigating their clients' cases. Moreover, he has extensive experience handling probate litigation and estate planning issues, especially as they relate to artists' estates or business succession.

A graduate of the American University in Washington, D.C., Mr. Wolfe obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1982 and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the school in 1983. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

A leader in his field, Mr. Wolfe has served as adjunct professor at several law schools, and he has published numerous articles and conducted lectures and continuing legal education seminars across the country on a variety of legal topics. He has also served as chairman of The Florida Bar's Section on entertainment and sports law, and he has drafted legalization passed by the Florida Legislature regarding the employment of minors in sports and entertainment. He also serves as arbitrator and mediator with the American Arbitration Association.
